about our first networking event in 2023.

Did you know there is no organized voice for the LGBTQ+ community in national health policy? Which is surprising, because there are a lot of us. Whether on Capitol Hill, at the Humphrey Building, at a trade association, university, or think tank, non-profit org or within the industry, members of the LGBTQ+ community shape major health care laws and regulations every day.

Increasingly, LGBTQ+ health care is front-and-center in major policy debates, whether issues related to PrEP or HIV/AIDS care, gender affirming care, pediatric care or an aging LGBTQ+ population, we’ve got a lot to talk about.

So let’s have some fun, build new connections, help one another find jobs, and crowdsource innovative policy ideas.

What We’ll Do

  • Networking and Social Events

  • Professional Development

  • Small Group Dinners with Health Policy Experts

  • Career Opportunities

  • Mentorship Program

  • Community Service

Our Principles

  • We’re nonpartisan

Republicans, Democrats, Independents alike - you can sit with us.

  • We’re about exploring new ideas.

Advancing health care for LGBTQ+ Americans is our priority. We haven’t always had a seat at the table, so we’re interested in debating and exploring new policy ideas and innovative approaches. LGBTQ+ health care is also evolving, especially with advancements in gender affirming care and a need to focus on aging community members.

  • We’re solutions-oriented.

We want to actually improve health care, not just complain about broken systems.

  • We’re checking the usual rivalries at the door.

Leave the pharma/payer/provider/facility squabbles to Politico.

  • We’re open to the entire community.

Part of our eclectic rainbow of a community? This is a club for all letters of our alphabet family and everyone in between.
